Vincent is the co-founder, president, and resistance training exercise biomechanics instructor for the Academy of Applied Personal Training Education (AAPTE). Vincent’s passion for sports, fitness and exercise started at a young age. From martial art training, water skiing, and weight training leading to body building and eventually competition. In 1989 Vincent decided to pursue a career as a personal trainer and earned his first personal training certification in 1990. Shortly after, he founded Body Works 1to1 Personal Training Inc. Since 1990, Vincent has developed, owned, managed, and consulted for personal training studios and health and fitness centers. In 1996, he co-founded the AAPTE. The AAPTE has maintained affiliation with Hofstra University College for Continuing Education where the Academy provides its Personal Trainer - Exercise and Fitness Specialist course. From 1999-2001 Vincent was part of Town Sports International’s (TSI) New York Sports Clubs, where he was an instrumental part of the personal trainer development team.
Vincent's primary area of concentration is in the study of resistance training exercise biomechanics, the musculoskeletal system and human development. The biomechanical concepts he teaches are the result of years of research, study, analysis, and the continued challenging of historical beliefs and methods of resistance training. The biomechanical analysis and practical application methods he teaches have been successfully applied to a wide range of populations including; youth, geriatrics, post-rehabilitation and competitive athletes.
Vincent’s education includes an Associate Science degree in Human Development with a concentration in Health Studies and Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development with a concentration in Health and Human Development. Additionally, Vincent has earned credentials from several accredited organizations, which include:

Vincent is a Continuing Education Specialist for the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and a nationally recognized continuing education / professional development provider to fitness and allied health professionals. Additionally, he is a career and technical education teacher (CTE) and for Nassau Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Joseph M. Barry Career & Technical Education Center where he created a one and two year curriculum for High School students seeking a career as a professional fitness specialist.

When Vincent is not developing curriculum, teaching or researching, he enjoys time with his family. His personal interests include the practice of a classical form of Karate (Shorin-Ryu Matsubayashi-Ryu), Cooking, Boating, Resistance and Cardiovascular exercise.
