Adaptations to training

This course includes a comprehensive overview of the adaptations to both cardiovascular and resistance training with a focus on each physiological system.

Upon completion students will:

 - review the training stimuli (anaerobic vs aerobic training, muscular strength, power, endurance and hypertrophy)

 - discuss each physiological systems adaptation to training (nervous, energy, cardiac, pulmonary, muscular, etc)

 - discuss the relevance to the health and fitness professional
