As a fitness professional, orthopedic conditions require a strategic and personalized approach to implementing, managing, and manipulating the exercise experience for a client/patient.
General recommendations are commonly “light stretching,” various forms of Yoga, and more. Such recommendations lack SPECIFICITY and can lead to what many professionals call "compensations" and weaknesses.
This course will not provide “general recommendations.” We will provide a ten-step succession to decision-making to create client-defined exercise options and demonstrate strategic manipulation to enhance the client / patient experience. PART-1 01/20/23 Will be VIA ZOOM - PART-2 01/22/23 will be hands-on Babylon location.
Key concepts
PART 1: Neuromuscular Response to Pain, Orthopedic Variances in Spinal Structure and Dysfunction, Tissue Degeneration – Regeneration, Geometry of Joints
PART 2 Hands-on: Assessing Neuromuscular Communication, Coactivation, Strategic Manipulation of Internal and External Forces, Using Isometric, and Dynamic Muscle Actions, Exercise Progressions
